Marti’s Restaurant

View Photos

This building on North Rampart Street housed oyster bar Gentilich’s in the early 1900’s, and the original Marti’s restaurant opened there in 1971 as a contemporary Creole bistro. Famed restaurant Peristyle opened a few years after Marti’s closed in 1988. The new Marti’s restaurant re-opened in 2013 and features an understated and elegant art deco design, retaining its famous murals.

Unique Barovier and Toso glass chandeliers illuminate the space which includes custom banquettes, decorative brass railings, and large framed mirrors. British designer Nicky Haslam provided the custom draperies and paint selections, while our design team provided FF&E design and procurement, as well as the millwork and railing design.
