This historic 1850’s Creole Townhouse renovation was recently completed. Our design team worked closely with the Vieux Carre Commission to replace a connecting “bridge” between the front and back historic buildings with a modernist glass and metal structure. The “bridge” houses the home’s kitchen, with lacquered cabinets and glazed lava stone counter tops. A previous remodel by the design team included custom millwork and lavish tile in the guest bathrooms.
Below are “before” images, computer renderings completed during the design process, and “after” snapshots from the jobsite.
